Logging business related attributes

nJAMS allows to enrich monitored technical information with business related information. The combination of pure technical information with functional information can be very helpful, when you have to analyze issues with your TIBCO BusinessWorks services. Imagine the business department reports an issue with a specific Order. For example, an Order was transferred by TIBCO, but is missing in the SAP target system. By adding Order Id as additional attribute in nJAMS, you are able to search for the specific Order ID, which noticeable accelerates the analysis of the issue. Without nJAMS you have to grep several distributed log files for the Order ID and you have to be lucky that the number is in the logs at all. In nJAMS business related information can be logged by using custom attributes. A custom attribute consists of a name, value pair. In nJAMS UI you can search for any of these attributes and perform complex queries based on attributes.
