Uninstalling#
Uninstalling of nJAMS Client for BW depends on the way you are using nJAMS Client within TIBCO BusinessWorks:
If you use nJAMS Client for BW in non-invasive mode, you just switch back the java start class to default, restart the BW engines, and you are done.
If you use explicit monitoring, you have to remove nJAMS activities from your process design and redeploy the updated BW engines.
Uninstall nJAMS Client for BW in non-invasive mode#
If you use [BW5] in non-invasive mode only, follow these instructions:
Stop all BW engines that use nJAMS Client for BW
Revert the java.start.class property from the TIBCO BusinessWorks engines’ TRA files to its original value
java.start.class=com.tibco.pe.PEMain
Remove
njams.jar
file from the machineRe-start all TIBCO BusinessWorks engines
Uninstall nJAMS Client for BW in explicit mode#
If you instrumented your TIBCO BusinessWorks processes by using nJAMS log activities, you have to update your process design and remove all nJAMS log activities.
Warning
It is required to update and redeploy your services before removing njams.jar
file from the machine that runs your TIBCO BusinessWorks engines.
Follow these steps to uninstall nJAMS Client for BW in explicit mode:
Remove all nJAMS log activities from corresponding process definitions. If applicable, update the mappings and validate your project.
Redeploy and restart the updated BW engines
Delete
njams.jar
file from the machine
