nJAMS is not Just Another Monitoring Solution. nJAMS is a unique end-to-end process visibility solution which spans multiple integration platforms, enterprise applications and cloud services.

News and important information#

Release 5.1.11:

  • New: nJAMS Server additionally supports Microsoft SQL Server 2019

Release 5.1.10:

  • New: Starting with release 5.1.10 nJAMS Server additionally supports Elasticsearch 7.16

    Elasticsearch 7.16.2 upgrades to release 2.17.0 of Apache Log4j, which addresses current Log4j vulnerabilities. Please refer to Elasticsearch’s announcement for more information.

Please consider the following, when using ES 7.13, ES 7.16:

  • Setting xpack.security.enabled is required in Elasticsearch 7.13, 7.16

  • Use new configuration syntax, e.g. node.roles: [data] instead of old syntax node.data: true

  • Disable deprecation warnings in each Elasticsearch node logging configuration by commenting out the following entry: # logger.deprecation.appenderRef.header_warning.ref = header_warning

  • Using Elastic’s automatic heap sizing is not recommended. However, configuring heap size manually by using jvm.options instead has been changed slightly, as explained here

Release 5.1.8:

  • New: nJAMS events can be sent to an endpoint of IM Flows

  • New: Starting with release 5.1.8 nJAMS Server additionally supports Elasticsearch 7.13

Please consider the following, when using ES 7.13:

  • Setting xpack.security.enabled is required in Elasticsearch 7.13

  • Use new configuration syntax, e.g. node.roles: [data] instead of old syntax node.data: true

  • Deprecation related warnings in nJAMS logs have no effect and can be ignored

  • Using Elastic’s automatic heap sizing is not recommended. However, configuring heap size manually by using jvm.options instead has been changed slightly, as explained here
